Fairfax acquires Community News in Victoria SYDNEY, July 27, 2000 -- John Fairfax Holdings Limited announced today that it had acquired The Renew Unit Trust, owners and publishers of Community News in Victoria. Community News has two editions, Moreland and Moonee Valley, with a total circulation of 127,000 covering the North Western Melbourne Suburbs.
